Magic Pen Book Tours MISSION is to share a love of books and help authors to spread the word about their books by organizing virtual book promotional events.

You can count on us to:

  • Contact and find bloggers and bookstagrammers for your event.
  • Send out a media kit with necessary information about the event, so that bloggers who prefer to construct their own posts can do so, and a ready-made post as an HTML doc as well.
  • Provide ARC distribution if necessary.
  • Organize a giveaway if necessary.
  • Schedule the event, monitor the posts and provide you with the links during or after the event (for book tours and reviews).
  • Custom make a banner for each event, which will be also featured on the right sidebar of Magic Pen Book Tour’s website.
  • Create several promotional graphics (teaser, pre-order, coming soon, available now and/or currently reading) and promotional texts for social media posts (IG, FB and Twitter). You can see some examples of graphics that have been created for Magic Pen Book Tours various events HERE.
  • Share two posts on Magic Pen Book Tours featuring your event – sign up and kick-off.
  • Promote your book and the event on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
  • Provide a stress free, fully organized online promotional event.
  • Be here to help you during the time of your event.

New Release Event Package

New Release Event Package is available only for upcoming releases. Events’ banner will be custom made and featured on sidebar of Magic Pen Book Tours website, there will be a sign-up post and blitz’s kick-off post on our blog. The event will be announced on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for sign-up and promoted during the time frame of the event. There is no limit on blogger/bookstagrammer participation. This event should be booked at least 6-16 weeks in advance (I would recommend to book at least 8 weeks in advance, to increase number of bloggers participating in the event). You can take a look at an example with promotional graphics for this event package HERE.

This package includes:

  • Pre-order teaser blast (one-day long event, takes place around 2-4 weeks before book’s release). A promo texts and a couple of graphics for social media will be created. There won’t be an HTML doc, therefore, this event is more oriented on social media platforms.
  • Release day blast (one-day long event, takes place on release day). A promo texts and a couple of ‘available now’ graphics for social media will be created. There won’t be an HTML doc, therefore, this event is more oriented on social media platforms.
  • Book blitz (five-day long event from Monday to Friday, can take place on release week or the next week). An HTML doc for blog posts, promo texts for social media and 5 graphics (teaser and ‘available now’) will be created. A giveaway can be organized during the blitz as well.
  • ARC distribution available (Review copies must be provided at least 3-5 weeks in advance as ARCs will be sent out 3-5 weeks before release) with ‘currently reading’ graphic. Review links will be collected.
  • Cover reveal can be added to this package as well (one-day long event). An HTML doc for blog posts, promo texts for social media and couple of graphics will be created.

Book/Blog Tours

Book/Blog Tours can be 5 or 10 days long, they take place Monday to Friday (there won’t be tour stops scheduled on Saturday nor Sunday). This event can take place during release week or after the book has been published. Our tour hosts are bloggers and/or bookstagrammers.

Book tours can include reviews, interviews with the author and book characters, guest posts, basic Q&A, excerpts, teasers, official playlist and dream cast, story behind the cover, or some a bit more creative posts with blogger created graphics, mood board, top 5 or 10 lists, character looks, playlists, dream casts or outfit for the book, also a giveaway would be advised during the time of the tour.

Please, take into consideration that there is no guarantee that every reviewer will like your book, however, they are asked to refrain from posting a review below 3 stars during the tour.

Blog Tour should be booked at least 3-5 months in advanceReview copies should be provided 3-5 weeks in advance.

Tour’s banner will be custom made and featured on the sidebar of Magic Pen Book Tours website, there will be a sign-up post and tour’s kick-off post with daily updated links for tour stops. The event will be promoted on social media sites (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter) during its course.

Blitzes

There is an offer of book blitzes, series blitzes, release blitzes, sales blitzes, pre-order blitzes and anniversary blitzes.

Book (for a single book) and series (for a book series) blitzes are five days long. They take place Monday to Friday during the release week of the book or any time after the book has been published.

Release blitz is a one-day long event and takes place on the book’s release day (but only Monday to Friday, therefore, if publishing day is Saturday or Sunday then this event can be organized as a book blitz or release boost on Monday).

Sales Blitz can be as many days long as the sale lasts. It takes place only trough Monday to Friday during the time that the book is on sale provided with purchasing links to increase amount of sales and bring extra exposure to your book.

Pre-order Blitz can be one or five days long. It takes place Monday to Friday before the book is published provided with pre-order links to increase amount of pre-orders and pre-release exposure. Or during the time your book is available for a discounted sale’s price. this blitz can feature a sneak peak into the book with an excerpt reveal.

Anniversary blitz can be one or five days long. It takes place Monday to Friday a year (or two, five or any other number of years, it’s your choice) after the book has been released on or around its publishing anniversary day or week.

Blitzes should be booked 4-16 weeks in advance (I would recommend to book at least 6 weeks in advance, to increase number of bloggers participating in the event). Adding giveaway is advised but not necessary, also you may offer a review opportunity during this event. Book blitz usually features excerpt from the book or/and teasers.

Blitz’s banner will be custom made and featured on sidebar of Magic Pen Book Tours website, there will be a sign up post and blitz’s kick-off post. The event will be announced on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for sign up and on the first day of the blitz. There is no limit on blogger/bookstagrammer participation.

Book Chapter or Excerpt Reveals

Book Chapter or Excerpt Reveal is a one-day or five-day long event before the release of the book, however, it should take place during Monday to Friday, as there are no events organized by Magic Pen Book Tours on Saturday nor Sunday. It is a good promotional event for pre-release exposure of your book.

Chapter/Excerpt reveal should be booked 4-16 weeks in advance (I would recommend to book at least 6 weeks in advance, to increase number of bloggers participating in the event).

Chapter/Excerpt Reveal banner will be custom made and featured on sidebar of Magic Pen Book Tours website, there will be a sign up post and the post of reveal. The event will be announced on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for sign up and promoted on the day of reveal. There is no limit on blogger/bookstagrammer participation.

Book Cover Reveals

Book Cover Reveal is a one-day long event, however, it should take place during Monday to Friday, as there are no events organized by Magic Pen Book Tours on Saturday nor Sunday. This event is organized only for covers that have not been released anywhere online. This event is good for pre-release exposure of your book.

Cover reveal should be booked 4-16 weeks in advance (I would recommend to book at least 6 weeks in advance, to increase number of bloggers participating in the event).

Cover Reveal banner will be custom made and featured on sidebar of Magic Pen Book Tours website, there will be a sign up post and a post of the actual cover reveal. The event will be announced on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for sign up and promoted on the day of reveal. There is no limit on blogger/bookstagrammer participation.

Book Trailer Reveals

Book Trailer Reveal is a one-day long event before the release of the book, however, it should take place during Monday to Friday, as there are no events organized by Magic Pen Book Tours on Saturday nor Sunday. It is a good promotional event for pre-release exposure of your book.

Trailer reveal should be booked 4-16 weeks in advance (I would recommend to book at least 6 weeks in advance, to increase number of bloggers participating in the event).

Trailer Reveal banner will be custom made and featured on sidebar of Magic Pen Book Tours website, there will be a sign up post and the post of reveal. The event will be announced on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for sign up and promoted on the day of reveal. There is no limit on blogger/bookstagrammer participation.

Book Teaser Reveals

Book Teaser Reveal is a one-day long event (there can be more than one such events for a book) before the release of the book, however, it should take place during Monday to Friday, as there are no events organized by Magic Pen Book Tours on Saturday nor Sunday. It is a good promotional event for pre-release exposure of your book.

Teaser reveal should be booked 4-16 weeks in advance.

The teaser will be promoted on Magic Pen Book Tours’ Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. There is no limit on blogger/bookstagrammer participation.

*Note. A promo texts and a couple of teaser images for social media will be created. There won’t be an HTML doc, therefore this event is more oriented for social media platforms.


Social Media Blasts

Release Blast/Boost is a one-day long event taking place on the day of the book’s release (Release Blast) or a few days later (Release Boost). It is a good promotional event for increasing exposure of your newly released book.

Teaser Blast, Sales Blast, and ‘FREE’ Book Blast are a one-day long events (there can be more than one such events for a book) taking place after the book has been released. It is a good promotional event for extra exposure of your book and it can help with increasing your book’s sales numbers.

Pre-Order Blast is a one-day long events (there can be more than one such events for a book) taking place before the release of the book. It is a good promotional event for pre-release exposure of your book.

All Social Media Blasts take place during Monday to Friday, as there are no events organized by Magic Pen Book Tours on Saturday nor Sunday. They should be booked 4-16 weeks in advance.

These blasts will be also promoted on Magic Pen Book Tours’ social media platforms (FB, IG and Twitter). There is no limit on blogger/bookstagrammer participation.

Review Query

If you are looking for some extra reviews for your book, then this is a good way to gain more reads and reviews. The offer for reviewing the book will be sent in an email to bloggers and posted on Magic Pen Book Tour’s website.

The book will be read and reviewed on bloggers’ own time frame, however, there can be added a dead-line for this task. ARCs will be distributed, data for review requests and links for those reviews will be created and sent to the author.

This service does not guarantee a positive review as all of the reviews are encouraged to be honest and there may always be readers who won’t enjoy your book.


Prices – Free of Charge

As Magic Pen Book Tours has just launched and we are all about sharing a love of books then for the first few months our provided services will be free of charge in exchange for your testimonial about our service after the event (so book now free events till end of February, 2023). We are still slowly growing and establishing our relationships with book bloggers, authors and publishers, so take this opportunity to use our free service as a primary or secondary organizer of virtual promotional events for your book. Also if you wish so, you can always present a copy of your book.

Free service does not mean that the quality or work input for the events will be lower than for a paid service. It only means that at the moment our reach of readers and bloggers is smaller than that of an established company as we are still growing and earning our place in the wonderful book-lover community. However, you can work with Magic Pen Book Tours for extra exposure for your book already now.
